This June, The Groove presents ABSTRACTIONS, a juried exhibition dedicated entirely to abstract art in all its forms. Featuring work across every medium—from painting and sculpture to mixed media and digital experimentation—the show celebrates color, form, and imagination unbound by representation.

Art due: June 2, 2026, 12–4 PM

Show dates: Opening June 5, 2026 – Closing Reception June 27, 2026, 2–4 PM

Art collected: June 27, 2026, 4–5 PM & June 30, 2026, 10 AM–12 PM

We take pride in our inclusive gallery approach—while our shows are juried, we strive to feature a wide variety of artists and art forms that reflect the richness of New Mexico’s creative community. Our large gallery space can accommodate 70+ pieces, all by New Mexico artists.

30% of all sales are retained by The Groove to fund community outreach and arts programming throughout Albuquerque. We maintain a strict policy against AI-generated work and any content deemed pornographic by the jury.
