Cool Copper Inclusions in Glass
Can you include metals in glass art? Yes, you can! Copper works very well. In this class, you'll cut copper sheet using templates and slip them between sheets of glass to be kiln-fired. You can also build in a copper post, and create a “pot-sticker” for your plants!
• All tools, materials, and heat (One kiln-firing included) are provided.
The Many Faces of Fused Glass with Mitch
Cut, assemble and fire traditional fused glass but utilizing a variety of non-glass materials and techniques. Using wire and sheet copper embedded in fused glass, we will create an opportunity to collage a variety of materials to glass. The objects created can be, but is not limited, to making a mask.
Fused Mandala Flowers w/ Karen
Design a mandala using a stencil, pattern or your own design. Placing glass powder onto base glass with small straw or designated tool to create pattern to cover the glass. Fire to full fused.
