Sgraffito on Glass with Karen
Prepared 6x6 full fused glass provided with an additional glass enamel layer on top. Scratch into the surface with bbq sticks to make designs by using stencils, free hand, doodles or zentangles. Fired and hung or set in a stand.

Fused Mandala Flowers w/ Karen
Design a mandala using a stencil, pattern or your own design. Placing glass powder onto base glass with small straw or designated tool to create pattern to cover the glass. Fire to full fused.
Exploring Ancient Glass: Pate de Vere with Dori Settles
his hands-on class introduces students to pâte de verre, using finely ground glass powder, frits and binders to create colorful, thin, and often translucent pieces. You’ll learn various approaches to working with glass materials and molds while being encouraged to experiment and find your own style. Through demonstrations and practice, you’ll gain the skills to create your own unique glass pieces. Students will provide their own dust mask or respirator, everything else will be provided.
Bright Bowl-Overs!
These little fused glass bowls trap light and color. You'll make two 6” x 6” bowl overs. So fun to compose the colored shards on a clear base sheet. They'll be fired twice: fused and then draped in the kiln.

Gorgeous Fused Glass Wave w/ Karen
This class will first demonstrate making a base for the finished wave. (A premade base will be provided for your fired wave.).
Then you will build a 6-8 inch free form wave on a kiln shelf using cut curves, medium and course transparent frit in various shades of blue in the design of your choice. Instructions on putting the wave in the base and using alcohol inks to color and seal the base if desired will be covered.
Handouts included.

Gorgeous Fused Glass Geology Coasters with Karen Shatar
Build a vertical frame, attach to base glass and the pour frit in thin layers to simulate a geological formulation. Then layer silver foil and course on top to create reactions. Fire to full fuse schedule. (Provided). Handouts to take home provided. You will make 2 gorgeous coasters.
Scrappy Bowls with Linda
Join us for a class on making scrappy bowls. You won't need to cut glass for this project! Your bowl will be made using mostly clear scrap glass with color scrap accents.

The Many Faces of Fused Glass with Mitch
Cut, assemble and fire traditional fused glass but utilizing a variety of non-glass materials and techniques. Using wire and sheet copper embedded in fused glass, we will create an opportunity to collage a variety of materials to glass. The objects created can be, but is not limited, to making a mask.
Cool Copper Inclusions in Glass
Can you include metals in glass art? Yes, you can! Copper works very well. In this class, you'll cut copper sheet using templates and slip them between sheets of glass to be kiln-fired. You can also build in a copper post, and create a “pot-sticker” for your plants!

Optical Illusions: Funky Fusing w/ Delfie
The optic dish uses volume control displacement to distort a pattern of stringers into a repeatable shape giving the dish an optical illusion. Each student will make an 8 inch optic dish. Dishes will be fused fired and slumped for you. Dishes can be picked up 3 days after class. All materials and 2 firings included.
Funky Art on a Pole: Welding & Fusing with Mitch - session 2
The first session will take place at Mitch Berg’s south valley Fuego studio, selecting, designing and welding metal scrap to form a sculptural base for your work. Session 2 takes place at The Groove, where we’ll fuse glass to fit your sculptural vision!
