Route 66 & AlbuRquerque: Youth Art in the City

This show is focused on life in ‘Burque, with a nod to the celebration of the anniversary of Route 66 and our city’s car culture. Open to all artists age 25 and under, all mediums, all sizes of artwork.

  • At The Groove, our motto is "Art for Everyone." We take pride in our inclusive gallery approach—while our shows are juried, we strive to feature a wide variety of artists and art forms that reflect the richness of New Mexico’s creative community. Our large gallery space can accommodate 70+ pieces, all by New Mexico artists.

    30% of all sales are retained by The Groove to fund community outreach and arts programming throughout Albuquerque. We maintain a strict policy against AI-generated work and any content deemed pornographic by the jury.

  • This April, The Groove celebrates the voices of the next generation with AlbuRquerque/Route 66: Youth Art in the City. Featuring artists age 25 and under, the show highlights bold perspectives on urban life, culture, and creativity along Albuquerque’s iconic stretch of Route 66.

    • Art collected: April 25, 2026, 4–5 PM & April 26, 2026, 10 AM–12 PM
